WordPress?

I'm debating whether I should move this to paid hosting and WordPress. It would be nice to have my own site again but Blogger is free.....

Plex and XBMC

I used to be a big Plex fan but lately, I haven't been all that happy with the direction they're going in, their lack of transparency, and their responses when people question them about it. I also don't like the fact that they decided to keep the source code for their Plex Media Server closed. If you write the software from scratch yourselves, feel free to do whatever you want with it. But it's wrong to fork a project that took years of development and deliberately not give back.

I do appreciate the efforts of the Plex developers. But I'm disappointed that they don't seem to want to have an open discussion about these issues.

So I think it's time to try out XBMC and see what's it's like on my Mac Mini. I'm also curious to see how the Linux version of the app with VDPAU works on the same box but I don't know if I'll have time to test it.
